Chuck Busick
Chuck founded The Busick Group in 2003 at the urging of several technology firms
requesting his assistance to acquire Congressional funding to support the development of
their technologies. Chuck has 25 years of executive-level experience working both in
and with the U.S. Government where he is an expert in the federal appropriations process. He
has mastered the process of cooperation between Congress and technology companies to leverage
congressional funding to support the development of emerging dual use technologies. Chuck
has led government activities for Ascentry Technologies and Microvision in
Washington State, Tech5 Corporation in Silicon Valley and Science and Technology
Corporation in Virginia where he has been instrumental in procuring more than $50M
in federal and state appropriations and grants. He is currently a Colonel in the U.S.
Army Reserves in Washington, DC. He holds a BS in Engineering from the United States
Military Academy.
Alecia Biddison
Alecia has 12 years of executive experience working in both the private and public sectors. Her expertise in helping small and
growing businesses utilize the federal appropriations process to supplement their sales revenue stream is invaluable. She has
been instrumental in bringing over $20 million in revenue to her clients. Her persuasive, organized and energetic attitude enable
her to clearly communicate technical and business information to members of Congress and senior management of diverse organizations.
Alecia co-founded a Silicon Valley software and professional services company which went from a garage shop to $8,000,000 in
revenues in two years. She positioned the company for acquisition at $60 million dollars. She has worked with companies including
Zixit Corporation, Microsoft/Web TV, CSTONE Inc., 24/7 Media, Metro Fiber Network, and SiteSmith. She has worked with such
local government agencies at Scotts Valley, CA; Tacoma, Washington; and Clark County, NV. As an Army leader, Alecia served as
a Finance Officer in the Middle East. During her overseas tour she was fiscally responsible for over $3.8 million in US,
foreign currency and contract payments. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from California Polytechnic University in
San Luis Obispo, California and is pursuing her Juris Doctorate with Concord Law School.
